  • Bio

Social Bones formed in 2010 as a combined force of veteran musicians from various incarnations of the legendary band, Baked Potato. The band's live show teems with improvisational jams that weave one song into another, creating a unique live experience for the fans every time they play. With a multitude of covers from classic rock to modern rock, to blues, reggae, country, disco, soul, funk, and bluegrass, they always leave the crowd satisfied. Each member is a strong songwriter in his own right, and the band's original songs are lyrically intricate, with catchy melodies and robust musicianship. Social Bones is a live music juggernaut that consistently dishes up an infectious party vibe at every show.

Any music from 1100 A.D. through the present. We don't really care for that early medieval crap.

You have a fun beat sound with interesting transitions, similar to an early Counting Crows or even Oasis. This is a fresh fun feel that doesn't cause you to have to ponder on the lyric, just relax and enjoy. Great songs, would love to play them on an upcoming show of mine. Let me know if that would be ok.
