Baker's Family was born in Finland in the change of the millenium when a group of Pori based musicians, sharing similar views and attitude for music, gathered together for a series of private jam sessions. In no time it became obvious that the package was functioning far too well to be left as it was and the new group was born under the name of "Baker's Family". Where the name comes from is another story and will probably be told in future pages. The band's music is basically blues, leaning towards "roots" or "jump", but is also influenced by southern rock (Allman, Lynyrd etc.) and someone may spot out some country influence, too. However, when you listen to the music of this band , you will find out for yourself, it plays the music with a flavour of its own. .. .. -
