The BHS Choirs consists of 3 auditioned choirs, and 2 un-auditioned choirs.
Auditioned Choirs: The Bel Canto Ladies Chorus is the advanced women's choir with approx. 45 members.
Chorale is the concert choir with approx. 65 members.
Chamber Choir is the top choir with approx. 22 members.
Un-Auditioned Choirs: Men's Choir is the beginning men's ensemble with approx. 45 members.
Women's Choir is the beginning women's ensemble with approx. 40 members.
We are the Bakersfield High School Choirs, composed of about 200 students under the direction of Christopher Borges, accompanied by Alicia Ellsworth. We have four concerts per year, as well as many other performances. The songs in the player above are from the 07-08 school year from the album entitled "Show me the Way." Yeah anyone can sell music on iTunes..and that's a great idea. It costs money per song. I'm not sure how much it is now but I'd estimate like $5 per song.

i'm goin 2 really miss choir...i hope u guys have a very successful year and i know that will be hard 2 do without the best in choir,me, lol...jk...but i'll be back 2 visit and 2 the concerts...
