Bakery Outlet is a record label based out of St. Augustine, Fl, run by two people called Rich and Lenny...well mostly Rich for now while Lenny is off acquiring his masters up in D.C. Bakery Outlet is no longer a record store found inside Loose Screws seeing as Loose Screws closed its doors this past summer. We hope to find another way to make a store happen in the near future. There is quite a large group of people to whom we are indebted: Erin Tobey (not just for visual/graphic skills); No Idea Records (for distro, love, and guidance); Dead Tank Records (also for distro and love), Loose Screws (r.i.p.)(for proving that weird can be good); Cafe Eleven (big up); Southern Horticulture (all the organic compost you can eat); Ingo Ebeling and his Company with the Golden Arm (yurp tour/yurp label); Mike at atlasprint.com for shirts, buttons, & print; Walt & all at iloveimprint.com for cd replication & print; Rick at rossellis.com for lp jackets; actrecycling.org for salvaged jewel cases; freedom manor (r.i.p.)(shows and kicker), wacky warehouse (r.i.p.) aka fort booya (for practice, shows, and wacky), Nobbys (for shows and karaoke) and all our friends.
Tschüüüsssssieeee! Lenny and Rich
sad bud true, on the 1st of november the immerhin will close its doors forever to clear space for a car park (praise the investors !!!)
we will thank all people who supported us the past years, all bands who played here, and all who visited our concerts and our bar. we did this all for you.
even if the old building will be down-and-out we are going to continue our work and are looking for a new place. hopefully we will find something soon.
Brother, I am so glad i got my lame butt out of the house last night and down to Nobby's. What a great cross section of music. I especially liked the parking lot set that Aimee did. You really had to pay attention but it was sooooooo worth it. I hope you like the simple "up-full" {as the Rastas say} piece i chose for you all. I hope it provides you with many grins in your future!!!
