Where do I BEGIN?! Shall I just make a list? Aaaaalrighty then! *takes a deep breath* I like, anime, manga, (I've been a fan of both for as long as I can remember), camping, hiking, backpacking, (I AM an eagle scout after all), writing, movies, other cultures and languages, learning, going out to new places, trying new things, reading, playing games, (particularly, City of Heroes, on the computer and any of a feeding trough of board and card games which I never get to play), music, (I love all types of music except anything with excessive cursing, whining, or rapping) (my favorite bands are, Queen, They Might Be Giants, Duran Duran, BNL, Tempest, the list goes on and on), singing, the renaissance festival (particularly the one in maryland and/or pennsylvania), Tim Burton, British comedy (except for Last of the Summer Wine, Keeping Up Appearances, or any other such filth), religious/theological/philosophical discussions, playing the guitar, ... *gasps for air* Trust me, there's more. and don't mind the awkward commas, they're there to separate things nicely for the computer (I DO know how to use commas, thank you).
I HATE politics (even though I'll sometimes get involved in a discussion), lies, anything touching my eyes, most TV shows (with a few exceptions), most hollywood crap (when i said movies, i meant i like SOME movies) (I particularly hate the current social disease SS, Sequel-Syndrome), most sports, and kids who act like they're better than you and think they're better than you (but won't FEEL better than me once I shove their own foot into every orifice they possess. at the same time).
got an overview? good.
My sister's computer has an iTunes library on it. Nay, library is not the correct term. It should be deemed an archive. She has over 40 Gigabytes of music in it, enough to last her more than a month if played straight through, not counting the audio-books and soundratcks. Most of my music is in her library. It's VERY eclectic. What does "eclectic" mean, you ask? Ignorant malcontent! Go look it up! that's what dictionary.com is for! And no, it does not mean "shocking". Anyway, if you want an interesting audio treat, let me make you a CD of some of my favorite songs (you better not be averse to good opera!)
Movies
Most movies are terrible. I will not talk about those. There are, however, good ones. And movies in general seem to be getting both better overall and worse overall. The good movies are all getting better, the bad ones are all running out of jokes. Will Ferril - not funny (if he writes it). I am a great fan of Jim Carrey (considering I look like him, act a bit like him, share his shoe size, height, and weight, and would love to make HIM laugh someday (no, i'm not a stalker, i visited his official webist yesterday)). I also cowtow before Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Danny Elfman (what a trio!), Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell (what a duo!), and Jennifer Connelly (what a woman!.. i mean.. solo!). I enjoy family films, believe it or not, CGI films, and animated films (but I long for the days when a film had NO CG in it, though some have incorporate the CG in amazing and subtle ways such as "Emperor's New Groove"). The last movie I saw as of this posting was "The Dark Knight". I was dumbfounded and impressed. An excellent movie.
Television
Very few shows on television spark my interest. Law & Order, Forensic Files, FBI Files, Cold Case Files, and just about anything else with the word "files" in it all spark my interest. Reality shows do not. They never shall. Fox does not. It never shall. Cartoon Network has some good shows, particularly in adult swim. Comedy Central does as well (though they stopped showing "The Tick" and only show "The Critic" late at night when i'm asleep). I get my news from the Daily Show, and I'm proud of that fact. They're the only ones who don't care which side to take because they can make fun of BOTH sides. Penn And Teller's Bullshit! is a show I respect, although some of it I do not agree with. Many of the shows on the discovery or learning channels I enjoy, and some of them make me question their idea of "scientific research". If I see something I suspect is made up, I will research it and find out the truth (such as "Cilit Bang!"). So there you have it. A very small list of shows I will EVER watch.
Books
This is as bad as listing my favorite animes. It's not going to happen. Too many. You'll just have to get to know me. But the current books I'm involved with include The Discoworld series by Terry Pratchett, Sandman, Watchmen, Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the complete works of Edgar Alan Poe. I also enjoy Shakespeare. That's right, I said I ENJOY it! MUA HA HA!
Heroes
So many men and women I look up to. Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, Ursula K. Le Guinn, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R.Tolkien, Dr. Seuss, and yes, even J.K.Rowling (for sharing her world with the world). Dr. Robert T. Bakker (who stands his ground in the endothermic/ectothermic debate (dinosaurs, people! - warm-blooded or cold-blooded!) despite what his colleagues might say). Many of the actors and directors listed previously. Personal heroes include my friends Monica, Mike, Mark, and Brian. I have a lot of personal issues and they are always willing to help me work through them (even though my personal issues are never quite as bad as those of others).

About me: You know, I would make this a very fun, interesting, and well-thought out little myspace, using the "about me" section to frighten you, or possibly seduce you into becoming my friend with promises of originality and chocolate. But I am far too lazy to come up with something so thought-provoking, so unusual. So instead, I shall turn this little farce of a myspace into something that I update once in a blue moon, like usual. Well, that's not entirely true. I do have a livejournal that some have called "brilliant, a must see" and other have deemed "cryptic and confusing". "If you only read one blog today, make sure this one is almost concidered." I used to update my livejournal everyday, almost. And it is general depressing, happy, poetic, languid, and obtuse. (languid?) Now I use facebook as well. I am a very eclectic person, with my own concerns and worries and a slight case of ADHD, which both keeps me in shape (look for my new video "Fidgeting Your Way to Better Abs"), and prevents me from paying attention to anything. where was I? oh yes, about me.
I haven't really talked about "me" much. Where shall I start? I am a twin. Yes, an identical (maternal, for all your weirdos) twin. I am "The Evil One" (no, really, that's my nick-name), partly because I have facial hair and my brother does not, and using the Bi-Laws of Villainy, that makes me the evil twin. I am interested in anime (you know, Japanese "cartoons" intended for a more mature-but-not-strictly-adult-wink-wink-nudge-nudge-say-no-more audience). I love writing, and reading. If you wish to read something I've written, first you will have to befriend me. Oh, and for all those internet users who don't understand the meaning of the word "befriend", I mean become my ACTUAL friend, not just put me on your friends list. I tend to get a bit picky about grammar at times, although typos do appear in my typing from time to tiem. time! time! *slaps self*
I have finally graduated, but am considering going back to school for a master's. Took me long enough. Changing majors from Systems Engineering to English does set you back a ways. My degree is in English with a focus in Non-fiction Writing and Editing (technical writing).
I love comedy, I love the outdoors (as long as it stays outdoors), I hate spiders and bees, and I'm indifferent about paper (but who isn't?). I am currently looking for work in the Clemson/Central area of South Carolina, where I make my home with my brand spankin' new wife (she's still got that oh-so-wonderful 'new wife' smell!). I am a Christian (Episcopalian to be precise) and I know too much about almost everything, particularly religion. I pretty much love doing anything and everything (exceptions DO exist, but you will have to find them out on your own). Games are NOT my world, they merely occupy a small corner of it. I have been published and do intend to be published in a more notable paper hopefully soon. Anyway, I've rambled. tsk tsk. And you read all THAT?! What's wrong with you?
Who I'd like to meet: Um.. people? I have friends, lots of them, but most are in Virginia, and I am not there anymore. I am interested in finding some very close friends, particularly friends in SC. Oh, you thought I meant close as in bosom buddies, not location? heh, well either is good, really. I'm just interested in finding more friends! That's where it all starts, after all.
