A Balance of Power: Salt Lake City's own Metalheads have been playing the underground scene with local and national acts for the past 7 years. Some of the national acts include: Into Eternity, Scum of the Earth, Psychostick, Drowning Pool, Northwest Royal, Dark Haven, Soulfly, SNOT, Dead By Wednesday, Hatebreed, Chimaira, Winds of Plague, Shadows Fall, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, Atreyu, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, Korn, Norma Jean, and 3 Inches of Blood. A Balance of Power has now celebrated their 1 year anniversary as a Jagemeister sponsored band and were showcased at the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival on the Jagermeister Mobile Stage July 14, 2010 in Nampa, Idaho. In April A Balance of Power will set out on their MetalJuana Tour which includes cities in Nevada, Washington, Colorado, Montana, Utah, and California. They have rocked the entire northwest region and are getting ready to expand their horizons even further. A Balance of Power has previously released "Stomp the Ground", a five song EP that will make you want to put on your moshing boots! This EP is available on iTunes, at the Heavy Metal Shop in Salt Lake City, from Rocky Mountain Hardcore, and at any live show. They have recently returned to the studio to record their next EP and it will be released on April 2, 2011. You can see A Balance of Power playing almost every weekend at any one of Salt Lake's premier venues, or on the road in your hometown!!
