And tomorrow is now...50 plus new tunes in the works! 8 of which are studiofied and mastered. all done at the fabulous Dubway here in NYC. (www.dubway.com). creating too much stuff to keep track of. thank god for little digital recorders! trying to find a residency at a club in NY to work out new material outside of our own four walls. anyone know of anything, let us know.........
Here's some history:
they're above average in nearly every respect. they are all fiercely good looking. stylists across the five boroughs worship them.
they look stunning in black and white or color, motion or still. they're stinking rich and reek of refinement.
singer loam and guitarist torello, the heir and spare of andalucian aristocrats, also best known as the european producers of huge spectacles such as GOODFELLAS ON ICE, which featured the future guitar slave r. tate overton on the 1999 north american tour.
bassist robert, who is actually surprisingly clever for someone of his iq, had nothing to do with the show.
he is, however, the brother's favorite charity case and would have been upset if they had left him out of the band.
along with mythical stick wrangler bobby siems, these five bon vivants practice the vanishing folk art known as american rock and roll.
Robb went crazy and ended up back in kentucky. he still sends warnings and instructions when the asylum guards aren't looking. torello traded his doc's in for tiva's and headed to oregon.
mike crehore, having had enough of being the water boy at burning man, joined and brought his bass. in an almost shakespearian twist, mike and tate accidentally switched instruments and the rest is history. at least until tomorrow.............
Just so everybody reading this knows...Balboa are groundbreaking music artists. We think you should attend all their shows, buy all of their CDs and T-shirts and be sure to put Balboa stickers all over your parent's car.
