Drummer for life, drummer in the moment, drummer looking to make history.
I think I was about 7 years old when I first saw Animal of The Muppets steal my attention away as he thrashed around the drums. Soon later I saw a drum kit for sale for $75 in the back of a Sears catalog. You know, right after the women's underwear section. I never met Animal, and it took my parents 5 more years to get me my first snare drum and lessons every Friday, but the anticipation was enough to know what I wanted to do with my life.
20+ years later I have toured on almost every continent with the bands Cake, Les Claypool,
Eric Burdon and the Animals, Eric McFadden, Deadweight, George Clinton, Ottmar Liebert, Faraway Brothers.

My wife thanks you for the drumstick! She hung on to that front rail for dear life and was rewarded. You were awesome with CAKE in AustinTX! Keep coming back, we would love to see you with Les here too!
Hi Paulo, I got the deadweight cd today and am listening to it right now on my laptop in the hospital. I had a kidney transplant on Monday. Everything's going well, but I had to sell my Roy Clark tickets for Saturday. I'd have been much more bummed to have missed you with Les! Timing is everything!
