From Houston, go south on I-45 (Gulf Freeway) - Cross the causeway to Galveston Island. Take the 61st St. exit to your right. Forward on 61st St. - Take a left onto Seawall Blvd...and enjoy the view of the Gulf of Mexico all the way to 21st. St. Start looking for places to park on the right side around 23rd St., the pier will be on your right over the ocean.
The legendary Balinese Room nightclub in Galveston has been restored and reopened, after nearly twenty years of neglect and vacancy. The historic night club (formerly a plush gambling casino and show venue featuring Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, Jack Benny and all the stars of the 40's and 50's) is located 600 feet into the Gulf on a pier at 21st Street (across from the Galvez Hotel on Seawall Blvd.)
