The CD “Balkan Routes Vol. 01: Nikola Tesla”, is a collection of 15 songs with a contemporary Balkan sound.
It is actually a series of CDs, each dedicated to a prominent Balkan personality who exceeded the frontiers of his country and reached excellence through his work for the benefit of humanity.
The 1st CD of the series is dedicated to the Serb Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) who was truly Prometheus of electricity. We owe him more than 700 inventions, some of which laid the foundations of the modern world as we know it.
Most of the songs are released for the first time while the songs: 1) “Nikola Tesla” of the Serb composer-singer Zeljko Joksimovic (got to known him in 2004 when his ballad “Lane moje” won 2nd place in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul) and 2) “Astro mou” (My star) of the Greek group ANEMOS are 1st time releases from Greece for the rest of the world.

To CD “Balkan Routes Vol. 01: Nikola Tesla”, (Βαλκανικές διαδρομές) είναι μια συλλογή 15 τραγουδιών με σύγχρονο Βαλκανικό ήχο.
Πρόκειται για μια σειρά από CDs, που το καθένα θα είναι αφιερωμένο σε εξέχουσες προσωπικότητες των Βαλκανίων, που κατάφεραν να ξεπεράσουν τα σύνορα των χωρών τους και μέσω των επιτευγμάτων τους να βοηθήσουν την ανθρωπότητα.
Το 1ο CD της σειράς είναι αφιερωμένο στην μνήμη του μεγάλου Σέρβου επιστήμονα και εφευρέτη Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) ο οποίος ήταν στην κυριολεξία ο Προμηθέας του ηλεκτρισμού. Του χρωστάμε περισσότερες από 700 εφευρέσεις, ορισμένες εκ των οποίων θεμελίωσαν το σύγχρονο κόσμο μας.
Τα περισσότερα από τα τραγούδια κυκλοφορούν για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα, ενώ το κομμάτι “Nikola Tesla” του Σέρβου συνθέτη – ερμηνευτή Zeljko Joksimovic (τον οποίο γνωρίσαμε το 2004 όταν με την μπαλάντα του “Lane moje” (Λάνε Μόγιε) κατέλαβε την 2η θέση στον διαγωνισμό της Eurovision το 2004 στην Κωνσταντινούπολη) κυκλοφορεί για πρώτη φορά από την Ελλάδα για όλες τις χώρες.
