About me:
Mr.Solo (Shaun) is a fresh, revealing sound in hip-hop music. Drawing on life experiences growing up in St.Louis, Mr.Solo brings a unique, philosophical sound to the musical table. His U-City roots have given him inspiration in a wide setting of styles.
Having been immersed in the music industry for 8 years, Mr.Solo has created a slice of music unlike any other. He has help many groups in St.Louis with either mix tapes, show cd's, demos, albums, beats, and etc... Working with KeyPushes Music (still Bullet Proof), RavenRizzo, Cash Attics, Thug Ryda Ent, Bottom of the Barrell, Hard Productions, Hustlin Ways Ent., My World Ent., The L.I.C., Street Gang, and many more have helped to enhance his musical direction.
He has also performed in live settings, most notably in 2000 in a Streetwise Entertainment production when he and a group by the name of "Platinumize Ent. performed the song "Round Here". Since then Solo has been in the lab working hard with artist and producers in creating a new sound for St.Louis. Drawing varied musical inspiration from the likes of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Outkast, 8Ball & MJG, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Mr.Solo has truly written and produced music that reaches the soul, and has given hip-hop a new voice to be reckoned with.
