Baltazar White started out in the fall of 2006 in the small town of Vänersborg as an escape from the traditional punk-rock-pop bands that were slowly suffocating the town. The highest ambition was to record something, anything really. Then after that the ambitions grew for every song that was recorded.
Baltazar White sounds like a mix between a traditional singer songwriter and a box full of broken toys and old radios. Acoustic guitars and beat boxing coexist in a strange way creating a unity that is small and intimate. The songs are often simple in their structure but build worlds of their own like drowsy daydreams.
