Bamboo needs nothing to grow but natural rainwater. No pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, or chemicals.
Cotton is considered the world’s “dirtiest” crop, because of its heavy use of insecticides. (It takes one third of a pound of synthetic fertilizer to produce the cotton in one t-shirt.)
Earth Friendly
By absorbing 5 times the amount of CO2 (and other green-house gasses) and producing 35% more oxygen than its equivalent stand of trees, bamboo is effective in reducing global warming.
Soft, Comfortable, and Cool
Bamboo fiber makes a much softer material than cotton and, to the touch, is similar to silk or cashmere.
It wicks away moisture from the skin and absorbs 3 to 4 times better than cotton. It also stays 2 to 3 degrees cooler in warm temperatures.
Our designs are printed with environmentally friendly water-based inks, instead of the cheaper plastisol chemicals on conventional shirts. You will discover that water-based inks provide a softer, more natural look and feel.
