Our show will follow in the foot steps of the great John peel and try to mock the concept of American and Canadian idol, so that all the potencial talent out there can have a real chance of being heard and being played on air for
all to hear and have a chance to be exposed via the internet for world recognition as our show covers the globe not just Canada and The USA. Our talent will include all the independent artists from rap to punk, to alternative and
even latin and south american vibes, and possibly more. The show will also be a bit talk show based as we will interview all sorts of people with an approach that you can say is not so main stream or status quo in all areas of business and of life in general.
The host at the helm of the show is Jeffrey Rubin who from time to time writes up on the music scene on some forums on line, predominatley the alternative scene, as he played a role in the Canadian Music Scene as a local Canadian judge for the Juno awards equivalent to that of The American Music Awards via application to Caras from a send in form in the Record Magazine a flyer that was put out by Sam The Record Man, thus made him a member of the Canadian academy of Recording Arts and Sciences also known as (Caras ).He was also working in the retail end as head of distribution for one of Canada’s best known retail establishments known as Sam The Record Man, in the corporate store in Montreal for a total of 16 years. Jeffrey resides in Vancouver, Canada, with wife Monica. Jeffrey’s major influence in the music scene is NME a British Magazine that reviews the best in the underground world of music, to which later becomes known to the pop world.
