About me: The Official BAND-IT Magazine Myspace Page
BAND-IT Magazine IS Local Music.
We are, put simply, the textual media advocate and outlet for underexposed, local, and unsigned bands/artists; and the venues, fans, record stores, and local scenes that support them.
Our main goal is to provide underexposed bands/artists and venues with the support they need in getting their music out to the masses, alongside giving you the reader all the information about your local music scene.
We released our debut issue in April at the BAND-IT Launch Party, which was held at Little Willie's in Tuscaloosa on April 12 2008. For Summer 2008, BAND-IT is devoted to advancing its website. Updates and new articles are posted regularly, and musicians can create profiles with their music, pics, bio, etc. Anyone, including fans, are welcome! Please check it out!
We are constantly looking for new bands to cover; so, if you or a band you know is interested please visit our website or contact us directly here . Please contact us if you have any pictures from recent, local shows that you would like for us to use in the magazine. New albums, singles, or EPs for review should be sent to: P.O. Box 865535 Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35486-0049. Also, if you are interested in volunteering your talents, then please contact us at the email link above.
If you are not in the Tuscaloosa area and want a copy of BAND-IT, please send us a message.
Who I'd like to meet: Underexposed Artists,
Venues,
Music Lovers,
Writers,
Photographers,
and Advertisers.
Hi there, BAND-IT Magazine! How are you? I hope the New Year is treating you well and has started off great.
I just wanted to say 'hi' and drop some love on your page. I hope you are doing well.
I am very excited to finally share my brand new music video for SABRE DANCE with you from my album, NEW BEGINNING (the one I sent in for review). I hope you like it.
I hope each day is wonderful for you. Thank you so very much for your friendship and support.
I have been busy on tour with Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band and haven't had a chance to tell you about my new record! It's called "Bad Little Kitty" and it came out back in July. There are a few tracks to sample on my MySpace but you can also check it out on iTunes or on my own website, www. TaylorHollingsworth. com. Thank you for continuing to be a friend and I hope you like the new collection of songs.

A site for bands, fans, and dj's. Here it is! The first ranking system that actually pays and offers free mp3 downloads! It's simple, bands register to see their ranking and fans vote to get free mp3 downloads. Everybody wins! The top band at the end of every month gets 25% of the revenue made by the site in that month. A random band is also chosen and gets 10% of the revenue for that month. Also a random fan is chosen and they get 5% of the revenue made by the site for that month. It's a win, win, win situation for all!!!
just stopping by to see if you're interested in our project....
We've started a collaborative radio station - and we're looking for people to contribute to our output....have a look, have a listen and join up if you'd like to join in!!!
