Thanks for the add and giving us a chance! We are six hard working, passionate, down-to-earth, crazy guys creating the music that we love! Free Spirit is a hardworking and equally hard playing rock band hailing from Finland.Our music offers strong musicianship, soulful vocals and the essence of the great acts from the rock scene. Undercurrents of Celtic and folk music blend seamlessly with powerful guitars, souring harmonies and melodies that will get stuck in your head for days at a time; a wound healed only by listening to more and more, quenching the thirst of a Free Spirit hit.
Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.

life. Black Angel released our third
album in two years on Earth Day April 22, 2009.
It is called O’ San Francisco. We asked Tiffany Lowe, granddaughter of Johnny
Cash and June Carter Cash (and daughter of country singer, Carlene Carter, and
British rocker, Nick Lowe) to sing on the album. The top picture below is of Tiffany in the
studio recording with us. The album is
dedicated to a close associate of Black Angel who recently died who was a big
Johnny Cash fan. We also have former
Johnny Cash drummer, Danny Darling, playing on the album. We hope to be touring soon and we may be playing
shows with former Black Angel singer, Audrey (Mrs. Ike) Turner. The bottom picture is of Black Angel playing
at The Roxy in Los Angeles
a few years ago with (left to right): Tomeka Haywood; me; Audrey Turner; and
Ronnie Turner (son of Ike and Tina Turner on bass). Please check us out when we come to your
