Cultivo comes to propose a way of human relationship. With consistent lyrics and dancing songs, Cultivo creates a loving environment which favors the understanding among the humanity and induces to a harmonic state with its own essence. "The band stimulates the development of spiritualization of each one independently on specific religious beliefs. Only through the spirituality, the humanity can reach a harmonious companionship and interaction state" (Pedrada). Cultivo originated in January 2004, when the member-friends of the extinct bands Ganjah Zumba, Jahmin and Canoazu gathered to form the band. The band seeks inspiration in nature, reggae, ska, dub and others, having in its repertoire some cover songs of Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, Gladiators, Midnite and other representatives of roots reggae music. Recently, "Cultivo" recorded its first album as an independent production. The twelve-song CD called Árvore Urbana was produced, recorded and published by its own members with a first-rate quality groove which has been spreading the hot rhythm of Cultivo throughout São Paulo. Cultivo is formed by Pedrada (Vocal), Kristian Korus (Bass), Cristian Jonatan (Drums), Angelita (Backing vocals), Anoles (Rhythm Guitar), Caio (Keyboards) and Alex (Percussion).
Cultivo vem propor uma forma de relacionamento humano. Com letras consistentes e músicas dançantes, Cultivo cria um ambiente amoroso, que favorece o entendimento entre a humanidade, e induz a um estado harmônico com a própria essência.

Cultivo teve origem em janeiro de 2004, quando os amigos integrantes das extintas bandas Ganjah Zumba, Jahmin e Canoazu, se reuniram para formar o conjunto.
A banda busca inspiração na natureza, ritmos da Jamaica, reggae, ska, dub, brasileiros e outros, figurando no repertório alguns covers de Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs, Gladiators, Midnite e outros representantes do reggae roots.
CULTIVO gravou seus 3 álbuns; Árvore Urbana - 2006, Orgânico - 2009 e Um Pouco de Cada em outubro de 2009 de forma independente:
