RIP MATT LEDFORD OF KRAMUS!! Though I only seen you once in our lives...Your life was a huge meaning to many people, the local music scene, and you will live on in our hearts...through the voice in Kramus's songs...Wish I would have had the chance to have met you...
People who have been playing an instrument, longer than some of us been alive! The parents young or old that let their kids have the drum set, guitar lessons, or let them sing, even when u know thats a voice only a mother could love(lol)
*This Online Music magazine is inspired and dedicated, to a very good friend of mine. This guy is not only a awesome guitar player and singer, but has been a really great friend for 4+ yrs. He was the first person to refer to me as a "Band-Aid", and for him I decided to name this magazine "BandAid"!!!...He knows who he is, thanks for the inspiration..much love!!*
BandAid is a strong supporter of all those fighting/battling cancer. Everyone knows someone who has it, had it, or have lost someone to it. We are proud to support our community, and help people with cancer, fight.
Recently BandAid got to help support a beautiful 13yr old girl named Aly, as she battles Leukemia. BandAid will keep her in our thoughts and hope you will too!

About me: This MySpace page was set up for the local bands in Indy to get more love from the local music lovers(like us).We are doing this page so that a group of my friends and I could share our love of live local music in Indy (and close by) with others.
We have a website that is now up and running. (www.bandaidmag.com)We have also decided we are going to continue invading myspace, even if we have our own site!!(LOL)
Our goal is to do interviews with various bands in the area, and help get them to you quicker, more personal, and help build the band's fan base...we also help with promotion, advertising, and do a show or two ourselves.
We have always had a love for music, and the Indy music scene. Now we get to go out on the town, meet these bands, and then report to you were they have been, what they are doing now, where they are going, and maybe even a little "behind the scences" (if we ask nice?) So visit our website and keep checking back for new interviews. We will post the interviews as soon as our "webmaster" does his magic...Make sure you come and check it out!!!www.bandaidmag.com (in case u missed it)....until then.....
Who I'd like to meet: Alot of local bands in Indy and the surrounding areas!!
Someone at a major record label to get my "band" friends around Indy some love they deserve.

"Some 29 years ago I was heading for & stationed at Ft. Ord & stayed over for a night in Frisco and Happened to see this band called Metallica at The Old Waldorf and thought to myself... Here's the future of Metal music & these guys kicked booty... An when I 1st heard Mind Furnace, I thought the same exact thing!! The more I listen to it, the more I'm loving the sound & wish I still DJ'ed at a college station... Because I'd play this track (Breathe It In) every chance I'd get!!... Rock On!!.. Even the Dogs, the hard-hitting metal foursome based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is both proud and pleased to announce their signing with Driven Music Group. Even the Dogs are honored to join a seasoned roster of metal bands, including Flotsam and Jetsam, Crossbreed, Godhead, 40 Below Summer, and Brian “Head” Welch. Even the Dogs are the first “new” talent signed to the label, but they are no strangers to the metal scene or the stage. Formed in 2006, after the dissolution of their former bands, Even the Dogs had but one mission in mind…to create music and a live show that was impossible to ignore. Comprised of 4 members that have been playing in bands since their teens, Even the Dogs brings a vast array of musical influence to their unique, but massively heavy sound. Daring to bring the groove to the metal, concert goers everywhere have coined the genre, unique to Even the Dogs and their music, as “Groove metal” From day 1, Even the Dogs have been the band you had to see live, and on Aug. 1 2009, following their live set, they were approached by Mark Nawara of Driven Music Group, and the recording contract came shortly thereafter. Eager to bring their music to the masses, their debut cd is slated for release in early 2010. Watch for Eddie Green on lead vocals, Anthony Hinton on drums, Jerry Rivera on guitar, and David O’Dell on bass, collectively known as Even the Dogs, to be in your city, or a city near you soon. C-ya on the road and be blessed hardcore...
