QG Imperial is the first Brazilian DancehallReggae backing band which performs together with several artists. The group was formed in late 2004 and their line-up consists of Danilo 'Rastael' (bass),
Lucas (keyboards), Ras Daniel (guitar) and Fabrício 'Jah Fya'(drums). QG Imperial plays several riddims (oldskool classics and new dancehall stuff) from Jamaica and other places in the world. They work with artists like Ras Bernardo, Jimmy Luv, Lei Di Dai, Kandiman, among others through the "Roots Ragga Reggae" project.

For this release we teamed up with top producer Jr. Blender and created a classical dancehall reggae riddim that is a link between the apart drifting genres Dancehall and Reggae.
The production has 14 Tracks and features some household names such as Gentleman, Luciano, Louie Culture, Lady G as well as newcomers as Nkulee Dube, the daughter of Reggae legend Lucky Dube, who performs her first Reggaesong on the Aspire riddim.
