It’s a kind of anesthesia, when you’re conscious but cannot feel your legs.
It’s a mix of eletropop, digital effects, samplers, images, acoustic instruments, references, preferences, influences.
It has many faces, many stories, many places.
We started thinking about having fun.
Music for fun, dancing, celebration.
It really happened between us: our gigs.
But there was something with the songs: as they were been written, they showed us a kind of a sad personality, and melancolic lyrics, melodies and chords came by without our intention.
It just happened !
And we are happilly sad in this direction.
Since it was created, almost two years ago, the songs were sang in portuguese, but we are changing this.
We love brazilian music, sometimes it’s easy to hear it in our songs, but we prefer to write in english: easier to be understood all the way around.
Raqui members: Cleber is the singer, also plays acoustic and electric guitar.
Marinho plays solo guitar, acoustic guitar, midi effects and backing vocals.
Leo Lima on the bass, electric guitar, digital efects, computer complicated things.
Right now one of our friends is working out of Brazil: Andre Urso plays the keyboards and is a Dj.
Now we are working in new songs (that will be here soon) at our home-studio and preparing a show, but still looking for a manager.
