THIS BAND STARTED AS AN IDEA FOR A FUN ACOUSTIC ONLY COVER BAND CALLED "PETEY & THE BANDCAMPERS" INITIALLY THE BRAINCHILD OF ORIGINAL MEMBERS MATT KERNS AND JOHN TRINCHERIA, "PETEY & THE BANDCAMPERS" HAD MUCH SUCCESS PLAYING THE LOCAL COVER BAND CIRCUIT AND WERE OFFERING SOMETHING A BIT DIFFERENT FROM THE REGULAR COVER BAND EXPERIENCE. A BAND THAT WAS FULL ON ACOUSTIC, WITH FLARE AND POWER! WITH VARIOUS LINEUP CHANGES THROUGH 2006 AND 2007, THE BAND SHORTENED ITS NAME TO "THE BANDCAMPERS" AND TESTED THE SCENE WITH A FRESH SOUND AND WENT ELECTRIC. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BAND INCLUDED STELLAR SHOWS AT THE TRAPPE TAVERN, BASH AT BOAT EVENTS, RIRA @ THE TROP IN ATLANTIC CITY NJ AND VARIOUS EVENTS AT THE WACHOVIA CENTER!
