"Watching B&E, you wouldn't be at all surprised to hear they'd landed a record deal next week. Nor would you blink an eye if they went back to their day jobs and put the instruments on the shelf." - PlaybackSTL --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B&E is the band you haven’t heard, but you should.
A five-piece rock n’ roll monstrosity, B&E delivers post-indie, post-punk, post-pop, post-garage rock full of hooks, licks and grips.
The band started as a duo in late ’05 playing the dive-bar circuit. After adding a drummer, B&E hit the studio and recorded its debut acoustic record, ‘We Regret Everything.’
Shortly after the ‘06 album release, B&E decided to plug in their guitars and revamp its lineup—starring a new drummer, bassist and lead guitarist.
In ‘07 B&E hit St. Louis with its new sound playing all over the city, while working on material for a new rock n’ roll album, due for fall ’08.
Until then, catch B&E live for a taste of what's to come...

"The music is good — poppy, a little gritty — and there are traces of the Hold Steady's Craig Finn in Corcoran's adenoidal scream and spit-fire delivery...'We Regret Everything' is promising. Witness the centerpiece "Pop Rox," a great two-minute song about summer love gone sour." - RFT Review

OK after much review, I think that I am finally able to write a critical comment.
First, the drummer rocks hard core. Phenomenal. Absolutely Phenomenal.
The lead guitarist is pretty badass. Good stuff. Great solos. The solos are actually what I enjoyed most out of these songs.
Eammon is badass, just because he's badass. I give him props for learning the guitar as well as he did. I remember when he was tickling the ivorys back in the NMR Days (Long live NMR for they will never die). Lose the hat though. Embrace the shaved head. Gives you character.
Bassist, good stuff. Great name. Johnny Castle? Brilliant.
Singer - I can't understand a word your saying. The fake accent english accent doesn't bode well to clarity and pronunciation. But the great part is that you look like a lead singer. You have the most persona based on looks and stage presence.
Band as a whole - Good looking bunch. Great promo band shots on your pics page. Very modern, professional. Good stuff. Good stuff.
Music as a whole: I like the guitar solos. Can't understand the lyrics, so can't really dig deeper. May I suggest putting the lyrics somewhere easily accessible to read along because I can't understand an f'ing word.
Promotional Artwork: Absolutely outstanding. The Raptor passed out with a guitar in his hands was nothing short of ABSOLUTE F'ING HARDCORE ROCKING F'ING BLOODY GENIUS!
Why I won't buy a CD: Cause I can't understand an f'ing word. Too much Beatles meet Sum 41 meet Green Day...ish.
What would make me buy a CD: Go balls out. Give me the 80's f'ing power ballad.
Overall rating out of 10: 6.546. Much improvements to be made, but I honestly could see a cult following turning in to stardom.
You have just picked up a fan from a tubby white boy in Littlestown, PA. Congratulations.
