This means that I believe in God and have accepted Christ as my Saviour, along with the responsibility that comes connected with His gift of salvation.
I practice the Christian faith and therefore worship and live regarding to that which is acceptable for Christians.
I have followed Christianity my whole life, working to be an accurate example of what a Christian is and what Christianity entails since I was four years old.
Yet being baptized Catholic and then assimilated into a Pentecostal church at an early age, followed by memberships at Methodist, Presbyterian, and Baptist churches, my religious mentality has been shaped in a way not seen in many others.
This mentality has allowed me to remain open-minded to the beliefs of other faiths and to even consider what they have to say, and I have studied, and plan on continuing my study of as much as I can about the ideologies and beliefs maintained by others.
I don't believe in religion in the definition it owns as being the guidelines and rules of a specific set of beliefs - such unnecessary politics get in the way of faith and hinder spiritual growth.
But I believe that many different religious groups make valid points that would benefit all people to look at and consider with open minds.
I see faith as a
PERSONAL relationship with God, an INTIMATE
walk through this world with Him and I accept that everyone does not walk on the same path as I.
I have noticed that, as Christians, self-righteousness and
hypocrisy
are our biggest faults, and we too often forget that to be Christian is to
LOVE

Yup, it happened like that.
Just like right out of some love story.
I met and fell in love with Brandon in 6th grade.
And it took eight years and a lot of Divine Help to get him to marry me,
and I’m sure watching us all these years was quite entertaining for those who know us,
at least it sure is entertaining looking back,
but here we are now,
finally together,
and happier than ever.
I have to admit that I was never one to believe in fate or predetermination,
but the events of our lives have been so serendipitous and fortuitous that it makes me realize that God has been trying to show us that this is His plan for years.
And now that I look back and think about all that my husband and I have been through…
…and all of the hints that God has given us along the way…
I see that it has always been so obvious that we were supposed to end up together,
so obvious that I don't know how we didn't catch on a lot sooner.
(then again, everyone we know has been telling us that we would wind up together all along, so we could just have been in denial...)
I just have to say that I couldn't possibly be any happier.
And not only do we have the comfort of knowing that this is what we have always wanted,
but we get to live happy knowing that us being together is something that God wanted to happen so badly that He spent eight years constantly trying to get us to see the path He has chosen for us,
and its wonderful knowing that this is the plan He has made for us.
It helps us to be closer to each other,
and to God,
and I know that this is it for life,
because this is exactly what all three of us want.
And I believe,
and have always believed,
that a relationship isn't just between the two partners,
because I have always believed that God should be the prominent part in every part of our lives,
and I have to say that having God be a part of your relationship makes it so much stronger,
and the love you feel so much deeper,
and it makes you so happy....
Really,
I couldn't be any happier with or more thankful for the path that God has placed before me,
and for the husband that I love more than anything else in this world.
He really does mean everything to me,
and it really is wonderful knowing that I have a lifetime of happiness with him to look forward to.
…I just wish that I had caught on to what God was trying to tell us sooner…

Not only has God granted me the privilege of a wonderful, loving husband, but He has also blessed us with the miracle of a baby!
James Dylan was born at 3:22 am on the morning of Saturday, December 29th, and he is the cutest, sweetest thing ever.
I can't thank God enough for blessing my life with so much love and joy, and all that I could ask for is to be the best mother and wife and Christian that I can be, to raise my child to love and appreciate God as much as we do, for Him to be as pleased with the three of us as He can be, and to honor Him in every aspect of my life so that He knows that He is the forefront of my thoughts and that I value Him above all else.
Oh...
And for Him to know how much everything He has given to me really does mean to me, cause I couldn't be more thankful for all that He has done for me.

I think all of the time
I do not concern myself with anything that does not hold some sort of intellectual value.
Most of the books I read are those of philosophy, religion, or other areas of intellectual interest.
People may presume that I am "stuck up" or "conceited" because I am always lost inside my own mind, but if I'm not paying attention to you it is merely that I am too distracted by all of the thoughts flying around in my brain to concentrate on whatever it is you're trying to say
...that or I find you completely uninteresting and a boring waste of time...
(Its not your fault though, it is a rare occasion that I find someone who I would consider to be mentally stimulating)

it does suck when you rent, my mom can't keep her cat at her apt. or she'll get kicked out. That really sucks for her because she has to leave him with my grandma.
that's cool though that they'll get to grow up with one another, I've always thought it was cool when parents would get their kids pets that could kind of grow up with them. It's just weired to think that even though James is older than her now, she'll end up passing him up in age. It's just so strange how that works and how animals age.
does she do good with James? it's always good if you can get a good natured dog so that they'll be patient with kids. God knows my little cousins used to pinch and pull on my granny's dog and she never offered to bite anybody. How long have you had her?
vacation is always much needed. having family close by is always a good thing. puppies are fun, were gonna get one after something happens to Dixie, (Jake's dog) she's really old, he's had her since he was like 7. Her hips are getting in bad shape to where it hurts her to get up and down now and she walks slow too. It sucks because she is totally the sweetest dog I have ever been around. What's your puppies name? I seen it on your pics but can't remember.
