JOINtheMOVEMENT .., BANDINGtogether, as we set out to aid a nation suffering from Genocide, civil war and AIDS. Currently over 600 children are dying daily within the DRC, 1/5 of all infants die and 1/2 of the population with die by the age of 40. How can we sit by and watch a nation suffer and not think that we have an obligation to do something to promote change? Dont just watch, jump in and join us as we head out with this vision, bringing peace to a nation that has not seen it in over 4 decades and bringing hope to a new generation that has never seen peace! Two, with a common passion, starting one of the most important revolutions, we believe, to date. Bringing awarness to a nation that many have deemed unreachable. We come from many backgrounds and locations, but we have ONE VISION: to see people band together and help change a people, through awareness here in the US and through support there, within the DRCongo. Join us as we make a difference. Bring new life to the youngest generation by showing them opportunities that they might have never had before and through peace that they have never seen in their lifetime.

BANDINGtogether is headed to the Democratic Republic of the CONGO for the people, to provide basic medical relief and AIDS education. Our vision includes providing inoculations for both TB and Malaria since these are causeing the most deaths. Both are very preventable and treatable with basic medical supplies and understanding but without someone to bring these provisions to the area, the people will continue to die from them. We also plan to provide antiretroviral drugs to those affected by HIV and AIDS since this is one of the leading causes of death within Africa. Our team is headed over in May of 2007 and then again in December, establishing a base of operation and establishing relationships with the local Conganese.
