The Egyptian goddess ISIS:
She can overcome death itself, yet she is not above grief: One of her tears, caused the Nile River to flood:
She underscores the depth of emotion that even a goddess must feel: She reminds me that we as women, can be a goddess and human at the same time..and that in showing our pain, does not take away our strength or make us anything less than a strong woman!!
37yr old female (sounds old i know) but at least i dont look, feel or act it....
Has been representing the Australian hip hop culture since the early 80's on all aspects of the elements.
Started out as a bgirl, representing Kosmic Krew/Nitro Sonic Rockers/Magical Puppets (early 80's)
Then progressed into the graff scene representing crews Tour De Future(early 80's) to International Bomb Squad(mid 90's to now, as well as, Stick Up Girls, Just Havin Fun!
At the age of 15 i was Australias first female mc to have a track pressed to vinyl and to rock stages with an international artist (Ice T), as well as being added to the soundtrack of a movie which has aired on Australian tv several times (but not a track i'm proud of) Go figure!!
Had my own radio show for a while that focused on females in hip hop (She Rock on 2ser) but i wouldnt call myself a female activist, as i believe hip hop skills have nothing to do with gender.

My main involvement in Hip Hop would definately be graff because its the one element ive never stopped and always make time for.... Ive held several exhibitions, as well as commissioned murals, tattoo designs and backdrops.
If i had a choice though.... id pass on a well paid mural
job or canvas for a dope trackside wall ANY day.... as i prefer to rock a spice piece for myself than a pretty mural, but skills pay the bills and ive been lucky.
My day job consists of working with youth, mainly Indigenous and Non English Speaking Background cultures...i helped pioneer youth arts in Western Sydney and started as an OUTREACH through art teacher that focused on breaking the silence of youth trauma through the expression of Hip Hop and Art...Today Im a Youth Recreation Offficer for one of the biggest councils in Australia. I'm also the Artistic Director for THE BURBS youth festival and a community artist, and on the art selection commitee for various councils and youth groups across Sydney...I truly love my job... as hard as it may be sometimes, I know im making a difference and THATS what counts in life! If it wasnt a paid job, id most likely be doin it anyway, cos i give a fuck!!
Apart from work and Hip Hop..... I'm a TRUE lover of music..old school electro funk being my first love, but appreciate all styles, as long as its good and dosn't lack funk and feeling. Music is my biggest influence and inspires me in everything i do in Hip Hop and life in general.
I also love motor cross (i used to race back in my pre teen and teen years) a scene i really miss. Infact i miss the whole 1980s period of my life in general...rollerskating, my bmx, being able to buy fireworks from the local milk bar, never leavin the house without my ghetto blaster, (these days i complain about having to carry my phone) but never my paint (funny that) the bad hair (well i didnt think so), ufo chips, metro gum, everything, because it was a time when everyone wasnt conformed to fitting in and experimented with finding there own style (my theory anyway)
Im also a very proud single mum of 2..older girl, younger boy, who are both extremely creative...daughter Shavae is what some may call extreme in her look...but thats her creative outlet..shes amazing at styling. photgraphy, and anything creative. My son Jediah (inspired by star wars, but means gift from god in hebrew) His middle name is also KNIGHT (i know, i'm a freak) is an old soul who loves to dance and draw and shouldve been born with a lead finger...
Back to me... I also absolutely love interior decorating and making a house a home (big difference) Also loves to cook (one of the reasons i'm called Spice) I also pride myself on being a straight up, trustworthy, open minded person who loves the city life but loves gettin back to nature and discovering the soul of the earth.
HIP HOP DONT STOP. I WONT EVER LET IT STOP!
Has one big brother who i'm truly proud of (he's a freak... his car was in the guiness book of world records for the fastest street registered front wheel drive car, has won many sound off comps and drag races, but now focuses on bikes....has his own shop SnR Pro that modifies bikes with turbos or to just looking damn good) He also races as well.... his modified hayabusa bike is classed as one of the fastest bikes in the world and his car and bike have graced many magazine covers.
I'm sure my mum wouldve been proud of us both... god i miss her....RIP
nuf said!
I DONT believe in COINCIDENCES!!! I await the journeys that lie before me...even the ones when dreaming!
Who I'd like to meet:
