...The Bandits are melodic punk 'n' roll band, who nowadays have rehearsal place in Idrija (Slovenia), where all the band members have also registred their permanent residence. The band with the current crew has been established in 2005. However all the bandits have been or still are the members of some great rock’n’roll bands, where they had been/are spreading the positive rock energy. The bands like Zablujena Generacija, Modeli, The Bleu Blue…so all the members have a lot of experiences in live performing, and also experiences of creating their own compositions. In the beginning of this story the band needed some songs to play so they could bring into the line their positive energy. They decided to start with some covers which were in the same spirit as the bandit’s spirit. They played and can still surprise the crowd at concerts with some perfectly performed covers from Rancid, Bad Religion, Green Day etc. The band is held together by a strong energy which is reflected especially in live performances on the stage, when playing their own songs. Their songs are loaded with strong, positive and indestructible energy, and also trough some really good performed cover songs. After some little identity crisis has been overcome, the band found its current orientation and name. The name is just perfect for
this band: they come out of nowhere, but instead of shooting bullets, they play catchy songs and bombard you with positive energy from the stage above.
