Mea-Culpa was formed in Rīga, Latvia in the end of spring 2006. The official 'debut' of the new name happened in January 2007, but the true start for the new band was marked in April 2006. In roughly view the band’s music describes as post-hardcore / metalcore.
Part of band’s members have played or have been playing simultaneously in such bands as Degu, Insomnia, Navela, Lassie the Cat, Evidence Defines Nothing, Collide, The Blackout and other.
During fall of summer 2008 will coming out their debut EP record "Confession Rejected" witch will be published by themselves.
Mea-Culpa have shared stage with bands as HORSE The Band (US), SoundArcade, Questions (BR), Nagasaki Nightmare (IT), Anpher, Tesa, In Twilight’s Embrace (PL), Presley Bastards (FIN), Ghiarta, KriegOPFer, Enhet, Sanctimony, Tackleberry (DE), Collide, Trauma Moralis and many other.
