There are many things that influence the members of the Stratford Band, from people to memories and even music. Directors and staff of the program care about the members of the band and strive to see them have success in all that they do. Friends influence other people as they grow together in maturity, physically, and maturally. The music played by the members can depict a scene or emotion in a person and could have everlasting influence on that person. These are the things that influence the members of the Stratford Band to be all that they can be.

The SHS band desireds to show excellence in every ensemble inside the program. We strive for the best that we can get and are happy with what we get. The leadership of the band program provides several ways for the students to develop and improve their musical talents by participating in several ensembles including: Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Small Ensembles, and many more.
Just recently the Winterguard became the state champions and have held that title for 4 years now.

ATTENTION ALL PERCUSSIONISTS! The University of South Carolina Drumline will be having an Open House the weekend of March 28th and 29th. This is an opportunity for ANY interested high school drumline member to come out and drum with a college line. Times are Friday: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Come either day for as long as you can. Music will be provided. Please bring your own sticks and or mallets. Also, if you can being your own drum, that would be great! Contact me via message for further information!
