Band substance are a band from Workington playing punk rock, mainly originals. Band substance formed in about June 2005 when drummer Andrew Terlerckjii joined guitarist Alex Elliott and bassist Sam Houston. we also have a website - www.freewebs.com/bandsubstance. With another year winding down to the end comes the end of year awards - and the return of the TGM Awards. The awards are back for its fourth year, hoping to be as successful as last year's.
To anyone who is new to this, the TGM Awards is an annual end of year awards event, which celebrates the best local bands in Cumbria and South West Scotland. And with many local acts battling for awards, there is so much to choose from.
We can confirm that Band Substance have 2 nominations:
* Best Punk/Ska Act * Best Gig (Monroe's Bar - July 2007)
Voting will begin on Saturday 17th November and close on Sunday 16th December, and the winners announced in the run up to Christmas.
