The band Votchi was founded in 1999. The line-up has changed over the years, a few other musicians joined and left the band, but the band's core members stayed constant. The current line-up is as follows: Petr Kutheil: vocals; Mirek Muzik: keyboards, vocals; Marty Smejkal: guitars; Pavel Bartos: bassguitar; Adrian Sevecek: drums; Petr Ackermann: flute.
Our style reflects individual musical influences of our band members; we can describe our style as progressive hard rock.
We play around the whole Czech Republic although our roots remain in Prague. We have supported a few great bands: Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Colosseum.
We have released three albums so far: Scary Woman (2002), Unicorn (2004) and New Religion (2008).
