Maybe it was just one too many long nights out or
maybe it was just one too many moments where
we thought to ourselves how much we love this city.
And maybe it had to take this long before a magazine
tried to capture the magic of what we consider to
be probably the best city in the world //
So we call this little baby BANGBANGBERLIN, a quarterly new Berlin fanzine
dedicated to the people who make this city the turbulent
affair it is for all resident ands guests //
We want to show Berlin the way people really see it,
live it and feel it. We felt a magazine that really represented
us and our understanding of Berlin was missing.
So we made our own fanzine. Sure, a magazine can never
totally capture the blast of a Berlin icey winter or that blistering heat
during a hell of a night out but its the Berlin experience
we want to try and capture and pass on //
BANGBANGBERLIN is the first publication about Berlin
written in English and in German, an obvious choice because
Liz's German is crap and Paul cant spell it very well either.
But also because Berlin is a truly multi-national city, with a huge
influx of foreigners coming here, to visit and often to stay.
We therefore wanted a magazine that everyone can
read and say ‘this is about us’, with nobody excluded,
because that is representative of life here //
And so we say, BANGBANGBERLIN is for BANGBANG people
wherever they live. People with a lust for life who understand how
special this place is //
Therefore readers in London, Paris, New York and even
Sydney will be able to pick up a copy, thanks to our
network of fashion and concept stores all over the
globe who have signed up to receive BANGBANGBERLIN //
BANGBANGBERLIN will launch in Berlin on 30th November 2007
with an invitation-only party and will be in stores by the second week of December //
