bang's shows have been invited to all the big comedy festivals and been recognized the world over as providing good entertainment value given the ridiculously low price of admission. About me: Bang Improv Studio is the longest running school and theatre of longform Improv in Los Angeles. Open since 1995, Bang's the home of the Annual Zodiac Thrillers and Jews vs. Christians long form Improv battles. Tickets are never more than $10 and we've got shows Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. No alcohol, so it's all ages at bang.
We're the MOST reasonable in terms of cost, the FASTEST in terms of getting you up onstage in front of audiences, and the LONGEST in terms of having you perform for six months in our longest running show (11 years and counting) on Friday nights.

This long-lost video from the 1985 series was pulled from the air shortly after sportscaster Troy De Longpre arm was violently TORN OFF at the shoulder by Nile crocodiles. Archival video footage was recently uncovered, and this horrible tragedy & network debacle has been brought back to light.
In 1985, the big three TV networks were all trying to cheaply fill slots in their Summer season. Along came THIS show "Planet Earth's Wild World of Sports" to keep American audiences transfixed by brutal survival-of-the-fittest nature scenes from around the globe coupled with fabulous color commentary by football veteran Chip Duncan and long-time sports anchor Ernie Chapswilliger. Episodes included; "Action on the Ice: Polar Bears vs. Baby seals" and "Speed Rally '85: Cheetahs vs. Impala" but, although the most FAMOUS of the episodes, "Mara River Showdown: Crocodiles vs. Wildebeests" was officially yanked after it had only been broadcast in a handful of markets. The official press release for this episode ran thusly:
