About me: THE BANK JOB, Lionsgate UK’s highly-charged thriller, starring Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows and directed by Roger Donaldson, will open in cinemas across the United Kingdom on Friday 29th February, 2008. Inspired by an extraordinary true event, a daring, unsolved robbery, which took place more than 35 years ago in London, it interweaves a heady combination of intrigue, political scandal and danger.
Jason Statham (“Crank”, “The Italian Job”) stars as Terry, the car dealer with a dodgy past and Saffron Burrows (“Klimt”, “Enigma”) is Martine, the successful model from his old neighbourhood who inveigles her old flame and his friends into undertaking the bank robbery. The extensive cast features an abundance of British acting talent, including Stephen Campbell Moore (“The History Boys”), Daniel Mays (“Atonement”), James Faulkner (“Colour Me Kubrick”), Alki David (“The Freediver”), Michael Jibson (“Flyboys”), Richard Lintern (“Syriana”), three-time Bafta® nominee David Suchet (TV’s “Poirot”), Peter de Jersey “Holby City”), Georgia Taylor (“Coronation Street”), Hattie Morahan (“Bodies”), Keeley Hawes (“A Cock and Bull Story”), Peter Bowles (“Freebird”), Colin Salmon (“Die Another Day”) and Sharon Maughan (“Holby City”).

Stylish, I thought it might be anyway. what a brilliant film, I was glued to my seat even though I needed the toilet. Was that a Tag Monaco Jason was wearing? I might be wrong but those watches were popular around 1973 after the Steve Mcqueen film Le mans, pure class anyway, top film would go and see again at the cinema.
