Bankrupt Records is an independent act composed of the DUO (brothers James G and JG) and longtime friend Big C. Established in 2005, the three artist have built their own platform to produce quality music and release it independently . Using creativity, complex wordplay, and their own brand of imagination, Bankrupt Records has created a sound that’s unique and provacative. The music is a mixture of real life emotion, cheap thrills, good times, and dark imagery. Bankrupt Records released its first professional release "Underground Mythology" on September 4th 2006 and has since flooded the underground market with a style that could only be defined as “Bankrupt”. In 2008, the DUO released their highly anticipated cd "Night Vision" and began a trilogy of albums known as the "Vision" series. The label also released "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", an underground supergroup composed of Bankrupt Records, Southern Hustlaz Inc, and Sico. Big C’s first solo album “Start the Show” is scheduled for a 2009 release and the DUO are prepared to drop their highly anticipated album “Double Vision” the same year. (BIG C): Big C aka C-nile uses his smooth voice and underdog personality to paint a portait of a man struggling to stay afloat in today's difficult world. A true product of an unsavory lifestyle, Big C is out to make his mark and is prepared to do whatever it takes. His debut ep "Start the show" is scheduled to drop in mid 2009.
