About Bankshot

Bankshot is an 8-piece ska/alternative band based out of Richmond, VA. Bankshot began in the spring of 1997 with the idea of making music and having a good time. The band provided a creative outlet for the members and a chance to make people go nuts at their energy-filled shows. Genres and barriers have not been favorite words of our band members; diversity is probably their most desirable characteristic. In the end, playing and spreading good music has been the top priority for Bankshot. Bankshot was featured on the Riffage.com/JetSet 2 CD that was distributed in SPIN Magazine. Bankshot can be found on more then 4 million Dell laptops as part of the MusicMatch software program. Bankshot was included on a compilation CD distributed at Woodstock '99. Bankshot was the headlining act for the Richmond leg of the Heineken/MP3.com 2001 Summer Live Tour.
