Ulster County finally has the neighbor notification law. But it's not enough. There are things we can do to help get rid of toxic pesticides:

1. sign one of our petitions:

New Paltz Residents

Non-New Paltz Residents

2. support HELP NEW PALTZ's (HEalthy Lawns Project) proposed law to ban lawn-care pesticides by going to board meetings and speaking, etc.

3. think about adopting the law in your village or town.

4. contact HELP New Paltz (send us a message) and get involved!

Although you may think the "neighbor notification law" falls a little bit short it of accomplishing your goals; it does not. It complicates things for any lawn care company to the point where it almost isn't worth it to deal with the potential fines. I hope you will tell us more about yourselves.
