Greensboro Artists and Crafters: Sharon George, George Gilcrist, Heather, Becky, Liz, Cynthia, Billy Bob, Edna Mae, and others...At present, there are affordable and functional items such as multicultural and local arts, crafts and textiles, work from self-taught artists, up-cycled art, vintage items, African Beads, craft books, plants and seasonal gifts!
Savory artisan foods, apple ginger drizzles and chutneys, etc.!
We also take consigned art and crafts and are looking for artists to join the Co-op - man the shop for a few hours in exchange for consignment fees. Good deal both ways.
Open Wednesday to Saturday, afternoons usually 12- 6 pm. Due to lack of heat, sometimes closed due to cold weather.
Cross section of all people from Greensboro including the Greater Glenwood Community and nearby Downtown residents - welcome students and faculty from UNC-G, NC A&T,Guilford College,Greensboro College, GTCC, etc. Especially want to meet all types of old and new world Artists, Crafters, Tradesmen, Self-Taught Folks who want to share their skills and work at the Baobab Tree Arts Cafe.
