Hey guys! Here are a few of the ministries hosted by the BCM. If you are interested in getting involved, see someone in the office and they can point you in the right direction. Also listed are a few of our favorite and most consistent hang-out activities. Read about the fun, then come join us!
Heroes
Jesus!
Faded
Faded is the resident praise band at the BCM and can be found playing every Tuesday at 7:30 during the worship service.
Impact
Impact is our sign language group that ministers in the unique and beautiful interpretation of songs through sign. Don't know sign language? No problem! Impact is more than happy to teach you on a song-by-song basis and have you performing for various audiences in no time!
True Vine
True Vine is a group of vocally-gifted students who simply love to harmonize and express their love for our Creator. The songs are always innovative, whether they are a great new twist on a classic hymn or a completely new melody. True Vine travels to local churches on various weekends throughout the year and performs for their members.
Internationals
The International Students Ministry is a great way to get involved in the BCM if you're from another country (or you like to work with people from another country). They have free ESL classes (English as a Second Language), women's groups, and many other events.
Killer Pong
This is unquestionably the most infamous hang-out activity at "The B." This fantastic twist on the game of ping pong will have you looking at table tennis in a whole new light. With simple rules and the ability to host upwards of twenty players simultaneously, this favorite sport of ours deserves your attention. Drop by anytime- there is sure to be a crowd playing Killer who will be more than eager to invite one more person into the game.
SNL
Like Saturday Night Live? We do too! Come watch it with a crowd- we promise it makes the skits even funnier. Our big screen is perfect for large crowds, good times, and more Tina Fey than you can handle.
The BCM is a place for students to connect. Our primary goal is for you to connect to God through His son, Jesus Christ. We also are a place for you to connect with other students and with area churches.
Ways to connect include our weekly worship service, freshman focus, discipleship groups, fellowships, mission trips, community projects, and many other activities. We welcome all students regardless of faith background to fellowship with us. We exist for you. Come by and meet us.
The BCM is funded by local Kentucky Baptists, who express their care for you through their tithes and offerings.
