Baraba-Jaba! was born out of a group experiment of creating music for Ecstatic Dance events, creating drum pieces around themes of the 5 rhythms of Gabriel Roth. We have organically grown and added members and styles to create moods through traditional and non-traditional compositions. Baraba-Jaba! is known as a dance band leading the audience on a journey through Textural and Rhythmic landscapes with an heavy emphasis on keeping the audience dancing.
