BARABAS is a project of Lord Asteru(aka Lloyed Dominguez), Lord Mangtas(aka Chummy Bertulfo) and Lord Agnas(aka Glenn Agnas), a tribute to the cohorts of NECRO-CDO, a group of like-minded individuals whose current mission is to fuck up the system, drink till drunk anything that has alcohol content and listen and collect arguably loud/aggressive/metal laden musick. Lord Asteru is currently head honcho and finger bleeder for the band NATIVESCREAM(of Malaybalay City) and Lord Mangtas was a former bassist/vocalist for Cebu-based defunct deathmetal band AGNAS while Lord Agnas from various now defunct metal bands in Cagayan de Oro City doing drum duties. Through countless drinking sessions and ear deafening listens at JAs Ground and K and A, the dudes finally decided to give rise to BARABAS last December 2004. Currently working and polishing on their original materials: As Twilight Plagues the Soul, and A Murder of Angels for a possible indie release, though no gigs as of yet, BARABAS is in the verge of cohesing and solidyfing the band to attain the sum of the whole of all mans darkest deeds and desires, the corruption of the spirit and the meekness of the flesh in the vain of death and black metal musick....Prepare for the coming of BARABAS....
