BARACAS play raucous heavy blues/punk/rock'n'roll with a heady dose of chaos and noise. It began as a let-your-hair-down jam between ex-Kubb keyboard player John Tilley and virtuoso guitarist Fred Abbott, but the cacophony produced was so much fun that they quickly recruited Fred's old Bullets bandmate George Leigh on bass, and a devastating power trio was born. They are known for their electrifying live shows and eccentric taste in legwear. The above songs were all recorded in their studio in a basement in Brixton (affectionately known as "Studio Fritzl").
