My brother and me have wanted to make a punk band since 1993. We've found 3 guys in the school who wanted to play as well in a band, but they did not prefer the punk music. Anyway we've made the Barackca wich had got 5 members in this way. But after 2 years our 2 guitar player decided to leave the band, because they didn't like our thinking too much, because for them there was too much politics. That was the reason why my brother started to learn to play in guitar and he became our guitarplayer.
1996. our bass guitarist must leave also, because he learnt much and hadn't got enough time for Barackca. Than since our 3rd birthday party we'd got Andrew who play with us untill today.
We released our albums DIY. because that time in hungary the record labels released the PUNK, METAL, ALTEROCK and NAZI stuffs together. We kept some of our money and went to record in a studio, than went to the TAPE factory. And it was very cool to make all things with the members of the band together without the influence of the money&brain-eaters.
From 1993 to 2001 we'd just played inside HUNGARY but many times!
In 2000 my brother and me made a record label : NEMART records.
2001 was the year when we play in an other country first but just near the borders (ex - Yugoslawia) after that when we played in one hungarian festival, some german guy (from LAK band) asked us: Hey when will you play in Germany?
But we hadn't known people there, so we couldn't answer anything. Than these guys'd helped us to start make concerts in Europe.
In 2002 we made 58 concerts in 7 countrys and we travelled 21340 kms.
In the beginning of 2003 we moved with the band to Berlin and we lived in KÖPI squat for 5 month, thanks for the same guys. But we needed to go back to Hungary, because we had got lot of tours there and during the tours we wanted to visit our family.
Anyway in this year we made 96 concerts in 12 countrys and we travelled 46280 kms.
In the end of this year we released our last and the hardest album, the "Open Your Mouth!".
In 2004 we had got many many tours as well, because we wanted to show our new CD to everybody. In october our 2nd guitar player (half german-half hungarian guy) joined us. In the end of this year we made a tour in South East Asia tour (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia) and it was pretty nice for us! Friendly people, nice scene, many good bands!
We made 108 concerts in 20 countrys and we travelled 69760 kms.
Nowadays we are very tired so we've made only 25 concerts in 2005 and we've organized maybe 25 more. But we would like to make a new album in this winter, than in 2006 the plan is:
