Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.
Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

THEY WANT US TO BARE AN UNNECCESSARY WEIGHT UPON OUR SHOULDERS, THAT AS BELIEVERS, AS DOERS, AS PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE TIME OR ENERGY TO OWN THAT FEAR, WE SAY INSTEAD: YES WE CAN!! ..BECAUSE AS THE ENLIGHTENED WE KNOW THAT WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN AND WE WILL NOT HOLD STOCK IN FEAR.
History is certainly being made today! BaROCK the vote!! I'm so proud of Barack Obama and it is bittersweet due to the death of his beloved grandma. I wish you the best and am so excited!!
