Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.
Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

My prayers are with you and your family. I know whats it like to have an ill family member that means the world to you. God bless you and her. Barack Obama has made a change in my life. I am voting for the first time this year because I need change and I am tired of what has been going on. This man has inspired me!!! I have never been one to follow politics, but I am addicted to watching him speak. It is sad that there is so much negeativity going on right now. We know the truth and the truth will be the next president of the United States. I have not felt so much hope and belief that we will rise ever!! Thank you Barack :)
I watched the debate and let me say thank you for actually telling what you plan to do to make my country a better place. As I watched the debate I could not understand what point McCain was trying to make. I heard nothing from him but old stories about his past. I don't care about your past I want to know what you will do and clearly as it came out in the debate he has nothing. I am terrified to see what this nation will become if he is president. That is why I am thankful that I have someone like you representing people like myself. You are an amazing person and I look forward to you becoming my president. Thank you.
We need to focus on the economy. The way that the energy companies have been hurting the American people's pocket books. The way the financial services systems have blown American people's money market savings. The way the mortgage companies blew up the values of the average US house and then left unassuming people withouth their homes. We need to focus on the TO WIN!
Barack Obama promises to honor the best traditions of both parties. He has inspired us, he has raised our hopes and rallied us to higher purpose. He gives us the ability to TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY..!
The time is now! Fight with us! Fight with all you can muster! Let us blow past the walls of ignorance and intolerance!
The choice is clear; our cause is just; and now is our time to make Barack Obama the next President of the United States. Like Reagan once said, "If not us who? If not now when?"
