He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.
Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.
The end of tyrrany is in sight. Its time for a change, and we are almost there. Nobody let up, the stakes are too high to relax now. After the party on Nov. 4th, we can rest.
Ok I'm usually always a cynic. I usually believe we can't do anything and nothing can be done, but this year is to important. This election will change our country's direction and what are future will be like. Are we gonna keep it the way it has always been where we are divided and we constantly smear and slander one another. Keep the things the way they are. or progress ourselves to a better future.
Does anyone know where I can get one of those oversized Obama signs?? I live in Minnetonka, and there are tons of those huge McCain signs all over, and I would like to counteract.. I've got little ones, but I need a big one..
It is always about Al Franken vs. Norm Coleman... Dean Barkley is a far better man for the job! I recommend all DFL voters look into Mr. Barkley. Do you want more Norm? Do you want the also unappealing Franken, who sounded promising at first but now has become more of the same? I don't personally conform to any political party; thus, I have looked at all sides of the election. Please look into Dean Barkley for Minnesota's US Senate seat!
If I heard right it starts today that you can do absentee balloting so feel free to get out there and vote guys, specially if you think you might forget to do it election day.
