Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.
Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.
CONGRATS OBAMA!!! I am still crying. My two year old son won't remember this day but I am going to remind him how you set a great example for everyone. Hopefully you will go the 8 years and he will be 10 and remember you.
I also want to mention my little sister Billie Jean Jackson who past away 08/03/2007 she was 24, she was physically disabled but she managed to get out and vote in the senate race in 2006. I know she would have don the same thing for you.
Last nights speech was brilliant but I am not suprise. I am sorry missouri did not turn blue but as you can see we did battle for you to win.... we were not giving up. I was at the polls at 5 am and it was worth it. I will do it again in 2012. Thank you President Obama!

Yes We Did!!!! What an amazing time to be an American. This is the first time I have been able to say that I am proud to be an American in a very long time!!!
Congrats on a well fought victory! Now to prove all the Nay Sayers WRONG; and actually do something for those who have been shafted far too long! (Along w/the rest of the Nation showing No favortism to special interests) Time to Wake up the slumbering issues that need attention!!! Just do ur thing and Make That Change!!!
Well Missouri didnt show much love but hey those who did vote for Obama we got the victory and we voted the President of the United States of America...Congrats to all who voted OBAMA...GO OUT AND CELEBRATE
