Barack's Biography

"We Have a Lot of Work to Do"

Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.

Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

Obama's educational background, common sense analysis, and intelligent forward thinking brilliance has been closely observed.

I prefer a President with a brain.

Friends, thank you for collaborating with us to make Barack Obama our next president.

Folks, this election is far from over! All the work that we've put in will be for nothing, if we don't GO OUT AND VOTE!

Please don't believe that your vote is not necessary or that Obama has won this election based on tracking polls.

In 2004, most polls showed John Kerry ahead of George Bush by 4 to 5 points... Kerry, lost the election by 60,000 votes.

Please understand, WE NEED YOUR VOTE AND EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

Cast your vote and please VERIFY IT before you hand it over!

The McCain people believe, that Obama will lose this election, because the YOUTH and FIRST TIME voters, don't care about their country and won't show up at the polls.

Please prove them wrong and vote for Barack Obama, on or before Tuesday Nov. 4.

The McCain people believe, that all the hip-hopers, bands, models, comedians and other artists on MySpace, are so self indulgent and scatter brained they won't go out and vote.

Please prove them wrong and vote for Barack Obama, on or before Tuesday Nov. 4.

The McCain people believe, that if they thrown the "Kitchen Sink "at Obama, calling him a Muslim, Socialists, terrorists etc... That they can deter and dissuade you from voting.

Please prove them wrong and vote for Barack Obama, on or before Tuesday Nov. 4.

Don't get fooled again! It's time to tell the demagogues and corporate thugs, THAT THIS IS OUR COUNTRY! Ladies and gentlemen, WE ARE AMERICA! And America needs us in this time of crisis.

Please help Obama. Do all you can between now and Tuesday

Volunteer at Obama headquarters, talk to your friends and please MAKE SURE AND VOTE!

It's been my honor and privilege to work with you these past months and together we WILL takeback America!

wake up

wake up sleepy heads
it’s time to change the world

i believe an eye for an eye
just makes everyone blind
i believe justice could be perfect
if we follow it’s flawless design

i believe that children
hate no one when they’re born
i believe if they grow to hate
we’re doing something wrong

i believe that music
can really heal your soul
i believe the human spirit
can be filled to become whole

i believe in action
i believe in work
i believe in respect
i believe we can heal the hurt
i believe in strength
i believe in love
i believe I’m right
i believe in looking up
i believe that poetry
matters now and then
i believe the youth of the world
are about to rise again
i believe in peace
i believe in truth
i believe life
i believe in you
i believe in you

o, say can you see
by the dawn's early light
what so proudly we hailed
at the twilight's last gleaming
whose broad stripes and bright stars
through the perilous fight
o'er the ramparts we watched
were so gallantly streaming
and the rocket's red glare
the bombs bursting in air
gave proof through the night
that our flag was still there
oh say does that star spangled banner yet wave
o'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave

I am on a committee for a local democrat here in Charlotte.
Talking to the people in the the 2-3 hour long lines, most of them know who the right choice is for president and are very happy to stand in line to let their voices be heard! The red state is changing this year! I am doing all I can to turn NC blue!!
