Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.
Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

Keep your head up and don't let the negativity coming from the other side sway you from the REAL problems in this country. I am a PROUD supporter of Obama / Biden and have been SCREAMING it from the rooftops for all to hear. I believe in your message and believe in you, hopefully in November the celebration will begin and last for the next 8 years.
Amazing! It took less than 15 hours for my Obama Car Magnet to get stolen. Someone actually thought to themselves "I disagree with this man, I will steal his property". Just another reason we need Hope, Hope from an Obama administration. God Bless America.
This is way I believe Sarah Palin is in over her head. She’s a gutsy maverick, but of the state of Alaska. She has yet proven to me why she can help lead this "Country". All her comments on reform come from reforming the state of Alaska and what is Alaska.
Alaska is the largest state in the US with 663,267 sq miles and has a "Whopping" population of 683,478. WOW!!! That's what she's governed and that gives her the ability to represent the low, middle, and upper classes of the rest of the country.
She talks about hockey moms and "Joe 6-pack", but how many hockey moms live in the southern US? Southern California? Those are the states with a lot of problems. She needs to connect with them first.
Here's a fun fact about population. The 2nd smallest state Rhode Island has a population of 1,057,832 and it's a mere 1,545 sq. miles. Even the smallest DC has over 580,000 people and its 68 sq. miles.
That's the heartland of America. That's where the people need jobs and companies need to be created.
Without them, who's going to work and rebuild our economy? Not John McCain, he’s rich.
