Getting ready to watch the debate! I will look forward to hearing the issues once again although I have to say that John Mccain should be confronted about his attacks and these of his running mate because they are cowards and divisive! I've spoken out against them and I hope she does "shut up"! I don't expect JMC to be anything but in the attack mode how boring and predictable! I want more from a president not what he offers. Barack Obama is my idea of what a president is going to be doing and saying. I expect the president to be smarter than the past 8 years actually. The USA needs a different plan for the future. Time to turn the page on bad politics of the past!
I am a younger Republican from NY. My vote never makes a difference in a state that is a deep shade of blue... but all that being said, I will be casting my first vote for a Democratic Presidential nominee:

I have been talking to my mother and sister and anyone else who would listen... I feel strongly that Obama brings the intelligence, energy, hope, and compassion that the Oval Office has been void of for 8 LONG years.
I think there will be a reverse Bradley effect meaning that many many people who say they don't trust Obama will get in that voting booth and pull the lever for Sen. Obama.
I predict a landslide and look forward to a change in Washington, a change in our energy policy, and an end to the Iraq war which is killing our youngest and bravest men and woman.
