I was so impressed with you last night before the World Series. You were awesome and took away any doubt that may have lingered in my mind about who to vote for. You actually moved me to tears and I cannot say that about any other politician. You will have my vote on November 4th as well as my family and anyone I have been able to talk politics with.

    Bradford County, PA for Obama!!!

I was listening to the episode of "This American Life" that focused on the ground campaign in Pennsylvania, and I've got to say I walked away feeling that much better about our chances. Just knowing about some of the people working so hard over there really made me feel good. I don't know who, if anybody, reads this. But just in case, I wanted to say THANKS! And Kacy: Keep fighting champ. When November 5th roles around, Carville is going to have to change his statement to "Pennsylvania is Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, with Kacy and friends in between.

Never did I think that I would be this into politics. This will be such an excting election. I have no doubt that OBIDEN (yes, I said that) will win. I however, am a little nervous, anxious, excited, and a little scared. I am taking a "class" Wednesday to "learn" how to work at the polls and help get the word out. I'm so stoked.

    Peace
    Love
    Obama

The republicans keep talking about socialism; by their definition we have been practicing socialism forever. We routinely take money from the wealthier states, usually “Blue States” and give it to poorer states, usually “Red States”. All these little labels and talking points just take attention away from the issues, the most important of which, at least to me, are jobs and the economy.

Barring some miracle we will end the year with well over a Million Jobs Lost. This would be the 13th time we lost jobs annually since 1950. Three of those happened under our current president and 5 under presidents named Bush. All thirteen occurred while a Republican was in the White House.

We had 2 major tax cuts in the past 8 years. Are You, or the Economy, better off today than in February 2001 when Bush presented the first of these? The national debt has already surpassed 10.5 trillion dollars and will pass 11 trillion by the time Bush leaves office, and that doesn’t include the recent bailout cost. Interest on the national debt was 451 billion in FY2008; that was the 3rd largest expenditure of the federal government.

Obama’s tax rate on top tax bracket is the same as Clinton’s which resulted in budget surpluses and 21.3 million new jobs. McCain would keep Bush tax cuts and add more cuts for the wealthy while taxing some employer benefits for the first time.

Finally Bush’s “pro-growth” tax policies were instrumental in creating 3.8 million jobs over the last 8 years; unfortunately 14.4 million people entered the work force during that time. As Republicans like to say “a rising tide lifts all ships” they forget a rising tide comes from the bottom up and not trickle down.

    For Barack~
I was at my local Campaign office today, and it was a PLEASURE. I got my signs up, the kids have colored their pictures of you... it has all been so exciting to share with my eight year old daughter. I PRAY and HOPE that YOU will be the next President of our country. I live in fear of what will happen if we do not over come the way things are now. I missed you in Abington PA... and HOPE that one day I will get to experience your presence here in Pottstown PA... you are a inspiration and listening and seeing you speak during the debates is always a pleasure. HOPKINS even gave you a "shout out" last night during his winning moment, I was totally in my glory... VOTE OBAMA! :) ~
